Bonnie Cooper

Bonnie earned her BSBA in Marketing from Mississippi College, and after working in private industry for many years, came to Southern Miss and moved into the world of education in 2000. With an affinity for exploring and a natural inclination for acquiring and sharing information, Bonnie's roles have often involved facilitating user adoption and integration of skills and tools, as well as research, communications, and planning.

Bonnie has held positions in several other units on campus, including Research and Sponsored Programs, the Instructional Media Unit (which eventually evolved into the Learning Enhancement Center), and the Special Collections Library. In May 2006, she re-joined the LEC staff as a trainer and currently serves as Coordinator for the Student Think Center.

Equipped with an avid curiosity and a life-long enthusiasm for learning and discovery, Bonnie enjoys finding opportunities to experiment with new ideas and activities. She lives in Hattiesburg with her son and an assortment of adopted pets.
