Linda Bass

Linda is the Proctor and Training Specialist in the Learning Enhancement Center where she proctors online exams, coordinates staff and faculty training, and works closely with the college alternative learning coordinators to facilitate minisession courses. Linda earned her B.S. in Advertising with a minor in Marketing in 1990 and has completed coursework for a M.S. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in College Student Personnel.

A staff member of the University since 1990, Linda worked for Continuing Education and Distance Learning for 14 years. She also served as the Alternative Learning Coordinator for the College of Science and Technology for two years before moving to the LEC in 2007.

Linda has served on Staff Council, the Parking Appeals Committee, the Distance Education Committee, and various staff hiring committees and scholarship award committees during her tenure at the University.

Linda is an active volunteer in the community serving on the Leadership Pinebelt Steering Committee, the Advisory Council for the Boys and Girls Club, the United Way Communications Committee, and the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Miss Hospitality Pageant.
