Sheri Rawls

Sheri is the Director of the Learning Enhancement Center and also serves as an adjunct instructor for the Departments of Technology Education and Undergraduate Studies. Sheri earned her Masters of Science degree in Instructional Technology from Southern Miss, as well as her undergraduate degree in Environmental Design.

A long time staff member of the University since 1984, Sheri has served as the Coordinator of Graphic Services for the Teaching Learning Resource Center, Team Leader of Multimedia Services for the Office of Technology Resources, as well as the Instructional Technologies Training and Graphics Specialist for the Office of Technology Resources. She continued her service as the Documents and Publications Specialist for the Office of the Provost before accepting the position of Instructional Designer, and then Director of the Learning Enhancement Center.

Sheri currently serves on the Space Utilization and Allocation Committee, Master Facility Planning Committee, Focus on Retention and Graduation Enhancement Committee, Instructional Technology Advisory Board, Distance Education Committee, and the Quality Enhancement Plan Advisory Board. She serves as the Southern Miss liaison to the IHL Advisory Council for Distance Learning and Academic Outreach, as well as a team member on the Mississippi.edu statewide initiative.

Sheri is a member of the Consortium of College and University Media Centers and the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education. Her professional presentations and papers have included sessions at e-Learn, THE Forum, Internet Librarian 2008, Educause Southwest Regional Conference, Creating Futures Through Technology, and Consortium of Colleges and University Media Centers conferences.
