Dr. Brenton Stewart earned his Ph.D., in Library & Information Studies, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before beginning his doctoral studies he worked as a Special Collections Cataloger and Serials/E-Resources Cataloger at Southern Polytechnic State University and Kansas State University Libraries. Dr. Stewart earned his MSLS from Clark Atlanta University and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. His research and teaching interests include Southern print culture, history of libraries, social informatics and information organization.
