    Who can apply?
Only Mississippi residents can apply.
 
How much is it worth?
1250 a semester with a 4000 study abroad scholarship opportunity.
 
How are applications judged?
A group of faculty, staff, and student judge them.
 
How long will it take for me to find out if I receive the scholarship?
You will be notified in February.
 
How do I get the study abroad scholarship?
Applications are released in November and due in January. They are judged by a group of faculty and students.
 
What opportunities for growth are there in the program?
Freshman Council (freshmen)
Leadership Team (sophomores)
Executive Team (juniors and seniors)
Mentors (sophomores, juniors, seniors)
 
How many service hours are required?
20 per semester starting the Spring semester of your freshman year.
 
Does my scholarship transfer if I transfer?
No.
 
Is there an on campus housing requirement?
Yes, your freshman year students live in Hickman (males) or Bolton (females) Halls. Students are required to live on campus for their sophomore year, as well.
 
Where will I live?
Bolton Hall (female) or Hickman Hall (male).
 
    Do I need to apply for housing?
Yes, housing is required for your first two years on campus.
 
Can I live with a non-Luckyday student?
In order to promote a living-learning community, we encourage that Luckday Scholars live with Luckyday Scholars.
 
How will I pick my roommate?
You will have an opportunity to meet a roommate during priority preview or you can get assigned one.
 
What is Priority Preview?
Priority Preview is in April and you will have the opportunity to sign up for classes and learn more about the university.
