Welcome to the Mississippi Association of Educational Office Professionals on March 27, 1949,at LeFleur's in Jackson , forty-three (43) secretaries met for the purpose of becoming acquainted yvetteand promoting professional and social relationships. Our name has changed through the years but our goals have remained the same. MAEOP is celebrating 58 years of promoting professional and social relationships.

My theme this year is "Rising Stars: A Source of Endless Wonder", and my goal is to make sure that all members feel like an important part of the MAEOP family, because they are, in view of the fact that without our members MAEOP would cease to exist. We have many talented people within the association and we need everyone's participation to help our newer STARS rise to their goals as a professional and seasoned STARS to continue to shine.

MAEOP has Five Points - Membership, Advancement, Education, Opportunity , and Professionalism. See them as the five points of a star and reach out to each point to achieve the goals I have set for us this year.

I am looking forward to working with you this coming year and remember You are the RISING STARS of MAEOP!
