We could also add a small jpeg of the writer's signature at the bottom to personalize it further. The "breadcrumbs" left at the top of the pages will help people to navigate the site in addition to the menu at left. This
will be a welcome message from the designated SOS representative,
perhaps Megan as president. Explain the intent of the Web page to
serve as a resource for students interested in oceanography. Perhaps
go into who can join, and overview of what the chapter does, etc.
Invite them to specific pages for more detail. We'd like to put
a face on the person writing, so let's shoot a nice digital image
and put alongside the copy. (Paula's photo at left is just for placement
purposes to give an idea of the size and basic content of the photo.)
