application process includes:
1. Complete the application form and submit
it as soon as possible to the Office of Graduate

There is a $25.00 application fee.
2.
Arrange to have your undergraduate transcripts
and Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores
sent to the USM Office of Graduate Admissions,

Obtain three recommendations from people familiar
with your academic record and have them sent

INTERNATIONAL
MILITARY
International Military Students should send
their request to attend the program to the Office
of Defense Cooperation (ODC) located in the
prospective student's country. In those countries
where there is no ODC, the request for attendance
should be directed to the U.S. Naval Attaché
at the U.S. Embassy. The course is listed in
the Military Articles and Service Listing (MASL)
under the title International Hydrographic Science
Applications Program and MASL number P-169265.

FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE
It may be possible to be considered for a
teaching or research assistantship for entering
M.S. students. All assistantships include
a full tuition waiver. Your application material
(including transcripts and recommendations)
must be received by the end of February for
admission for the fall semester. Successful
applicants will be notified of admission decisions
as soon as possible.
