     Notes:

1.      You must have a valid, written excuse to receive a make-up quiz or exam.  You must make arrangements before the next scheduled class period to take the make-up quiz or exam.

2.      Last day to drop without academic penalty is 5:00 p.m., February 18, 2003.  You will have had one homework assignment, one quiz and one examination returned to you before then.

3.       Assignments will be graded on a 5-10 scale.  Turning it in on time is worth 5 points.  Late assignments are graded on a 0-10 scale, with 2 points deducted for each class meeting late.

MAR 151L - Laboratory will meet on Wednesday nights in Academic Building Room 214

First laboratory will be conducted Wednesday, January 22, 2003

Laboratory Instructor:     Ms. Erin Kirk, Marine Science graduate student.  Telephone:  228-688-3343.

Laboratory Cruise:  A mandatory Saturday cruises will be scheduled during the semester.  It is mandatory for everyone taking the laboratory (MAR 151L).  There will be a choice of one of two Saturdays.  More details will be available when the lab meets on Wednesday, January 23, 2003.
