Graduating with Latin Honors
2. Student will need to complete a special addendum to the degree application at the time of its submission. This addendum is attached. 3. Students will submit three copies of the thesis to the Dean’s Office no later than two weeks prior to graduation. The thesis must conform in format and specifications to the standards established by the College of Science and Technology. For details concerning the required format, see the Guide for Writing the Senior Thesis, copies of which are available in the Office of Undergraduate Services (TEC 105). All appropriate signatures must be on the copies at the time of submission. 4. Students will pay for these three copies to be bound; cost will be $60. If the student desires additional copies, then can be bound at a cost of $20 each. Payment must be paid to the Business office to the Science and Technology Binding Account (account number 401200-14H40-350001-01001 – project code DE00158) prior to submission of the thesis to the Dean's Office and no later thant two weeks prior to graduation. 5. The Dean’s Office will deliver the thesis copies to the binding company and pay the company from the special account. When received from the binding company, copies will be delivered to the Cook Library and the academic department. The student’s copy (or copies) will be available for pickup from the Dean’s Office or mailed at the student’s request. 6. At the time the thesis is submitted, the department chair must notify the College’s degree auditor that all requirements for Latin honors have been satisfied; namely, that the thesis has been approved and the comprehensive examination has been passed. The Dean’s Office will then notify the registrar that a diploma with a Latin honors designation may be issued. College of Science and Technology

year prior to graduation: 4) the successful completion of a senior project resulting in a written report on that project and meeting guidelines based on those presently in effect for Senior Honors projects; 5) the filing of this application by the student along with the degree application by the appropriate published deadline.
