The site is composed of pages grouped by topics, and organized to provide efficient access. The faculty and staff home pages which are linked from these Departmental pages are maintained by each faculty and staff member for the purpose of providing further information about their research, teaching and other interests.

Navigating the Department of Mathematics web pages.

We have attempted to construct our web pages so that most modern browsers can navigate them successfully. Please let us know if you are having difficulty with accessing any features on this site. You will require a Java enabled browser to utilize most of the functions, and it is useful to have Adobe acrobat reader if you wish to view the pages that are in PDF format.

Navigation tool bars

Each page has a left and right button bar for enhanced navigation. The left navigation tool bars provide direct access to the main Departmental web pages, while the right bars provide pop-up information about the Department and the University. The bottom of each page has a return to the previous page, and return to USM' Home page button in the lower right.
