Cooperative group projects will be done in class and will also be part of outside class assignments. Explorations are located at the end of each chapter and in two chapter- length Extended Explorations. These explorations involve team work and provide open-ended problems designed to be used in parallel with reading the text. Students will present the results of some explorations as informal group oral presentations, and individually write summaries of some explorations.
