MCJ Internships:

Students in the School of Mass Communication & Journalism are urged to complete at least one, but preferably two, internships during the course of their studies. Student can get three hours of course credit for one of the internships.

To get credit, students should follow the checklist below. The first step is to complete the internship application, which is below. The application includes a checklist to follow to secure an internship. The first step is to turn in the application to the School's internship coordinator, Maggie Williams.

Internship application (Microsoft Word version, Adobe Acrobat version)

Employer internship evaluation, to be completed by the student's employer at the midpoint and at the end of the internship. (Microsoft Word version, Adobe Acrobat version). Evaluations should be turned in to internship supervisor, Maggie Williams, in SH-013.

Student internship evaluation, to be completed by the student at the end of the internship. (Microsoft Word version, Adobe Acrobat version)
