About the Undergraduate Program
An undergraduate degree in Medical Technology will prepare a student for the rigorous world of hospital and clinical laboratories. Classes are designed to teach students how to perform diagnostic tests, with both theoretical and practical looks at the discipline in order for the student to have a full grasp of laboratory technology and analysis.
The career field for medical technologists is very strong, with a 100% job placement rate within 6 months of graduation. Graduates of the program are in great demand in central and south Missisissippi, and a quality education is important in order to provide top care in these facilities.
