Mettler Toledo ReactIR™iC10

ReactIR iC10 is a portable, mid-infrared tool which builds upon the established foundation of ReactIR™ technology. ReactIR™iC10 serves the needs of organic and process chemists as a universal reaction analysis tool. This robust collection of technologies addresses daily monitoring issues as well as problematic reactions associated with:  low temperature, elevated pressure, toxicity, corrosion, transient intermediates, moisture, and air sensitivity.  These chemistries are either difficult or impossible to monitor by off-line methods, but chemistries approach routine with in situ technologies such as ReactIRTM.  This mid-infrared tool is ideally suitable for the following application areas: Reaction Start/End Points, Reaction Progression, Intermediates, Concentration (Yield/Conversion), Kinetics, and Mechanism. The ReactIR™iC10 provides an ergonomic and agile solution for in situ reaction analysis.  Because of the sealed outer enclosure design, the ReactIR™iC10 can be used within a fume hood.  Coupled with a flexible FiberConduit TM and our patented 6 mm DiCompTM probe technology, interfacing to conventional round-bottom flasks could not be easier

Mettler Toledo RC1e High Temperature Reaction Calorimeter

The RC1e Reaction Calorimeters are actually both - models of a semibatch reactor from the plant and at the same time, reaction calorimeters. It allows the measurement and control of important process parameters. The RC1e also allows the determination of the complete mass and heat balance over the course of the entire chemical process. The lab batches are performed on a milliliter to liter scale under conditions which closely mirror the (pilot) plan reality.

The RC1e Reaction Calorimeter is recognized as the industrial standard to gain safety data for a later scale-up to pilot plant or production. The very robust construction guarantees a long product life, and hence, a solid protection of your investment.

MyiQ Single-Color Real-Time PCR Detection System

Polymerase Chain Reaction is a technique which is used to amplify the number of copies of a specific region of DNA, in order to produce enough DNA to be adequately tested. The new MyiQ real-time PCR detection system offers an affordable alternative for the detection of common green fluorescent dyes such as FAM and SYBR Green I. This system interfaces directly with the iCycler thermal cycler, offering superior features such as thermal gradient and Peltier-effect driven performance. The MyiQ real-time PCR detection system is a perfect solution for those just getting started with this technology as well as those looking for additional instruments to handle increasing routine assay demands. This system was developed by the same experts at Bio-Rad who have pioneered performance in real-time PCR. The MyiQ delivers the same excellent-quality data as the iCycler iQ real-time detection system. Detection 585 nm FAM/SYBR filters included as well as excitation 400 nm FAM/SYBR filters and 96 Wells. Has a dynamic range of 8 orders of magnitude and the cycling system is peltier and joule.

  • Innovative real-time PCR thermal gradient
  • IEasy melt-curve analysis
  • Customizable end-point analysis
  • Sensitivity of detection down to one copy of IL-1beta
  • Superb uniformity of results across all 96 wells in a SYBR Green uniformity assay
  • Excellent resolution over at elast 6 orders of magnitude
  • New MyiQ software
  • Quantitation, melt-curve, and end-point options for data analysis
  • Easy real-time PCR protocol setup
