System requirements vary widely. Contact me for any specific information. What I have here is a basic overview.

RSI products (IDL and ENVI) run on just about any system, regardless of processor, memory, or operating system. It does require around 400-500 MB of free space.

ERDAS products can be installed on several different platforms but is no longer supported on Windows 95/98 operating system. A minimal install requires 300-400 MB of free space. A complete install can approach 900 megs.

ESRI varies from product to product. For the 8.x series of software, you need an operating system greater than Windows 95/98 and at least 1 GB free space for full installation. ESRI primarily supports Windows and Linux (Unix) operating systems with only a select few platforms.

Feel free to go to the vendor Web sites to view more specific requirements. However, I may not have a copy of software for certain platforms or operating systems on hand, so please let me know if you are interested in running this software on something other than PC or Unix boxes or on a different O/S.
