KEYBOARD DIVISION

Bachelors (B.A., B.M., and B.M.E.), Master’s (M.M. and M.M.E.) and Doctoral degrees are offered within the keyboard division. Studies in harpsichord and early music performance are included in the curriculum.

The School of Music at The University of Southern Mississippi is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music and draws regional, national, and international music majors with its strong keyboard, orchestra, band, chorus, chamber music, and opera/musical theatre offerings. Students majoring in other disciplines may also participate on a space-available basis.

The keyboard faculty holds advanced degrees from Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Eastman School of Music, Indiana University, New England Conservatory, and Peabody Conservatory. All are active performers and dedicated teachers.
