These auditions are for scholarship dollars in the form of service awards.

Nov. 13, Jan. 29, March 5

Schedule:
9:30 a.m. - Marsh Lobby. Gather for doughnuts, muffins and drinks.
10:00 a.m. - Marsh Auditorium - Welcome and announcements from Dr. Michael Miles, Director
10:15 a.m. - Meeting with Financial Aid, Housing, and Admissions for about 15 minutes each. Graduate students meet with Graduate Office.
11:00 a.m. - Campus tour.
12:00 p.m. - PAC 105. Pizza lunch for prospective students and parents.
12:45 p.m. - Voice majors remain in PAC 105 to listen to the Southern Chorale performance. All instrumental majors proceed to the individual studios for their auditions.
1-2:00 p.m. - Admissions, Housing and Financial Aid representatives in the lobby of PAC to answer questions, fill out forms.
2:00 p.m. - Instrumental majors go to PAC 009 to listen to the Southern Miss Orchestra performance. All voice students proceed to Marsh Auditorium for auditions.

Finish and disperse at different times.

Music and Music Education
Performance majors should inquire with their respective areas listed above for audition requirements. Graduate application materials including application, transcripts, recommendations, and tests scores (GRE for all music students, plus the TOEFL for international students) must be received by the following dates:

Spring 2009 - December 1
Summer 2009 - April 25
Fall 2010 - July 15
Summer 2010 - April 25
