Since its founding nearly 30 years ago, the Zeta Chi chapter of Delta Tau Delta at The University of Southern Mississippi has raised approximately half a million dollars to fight Cystic Fibrosis. That tradition continues Saturday, March 28 when the fraternity hosts its annual Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Run for Breath 5K Run/Walk.
With their soulful blues sound, the sibling trio of Homemade Jamz Blues Band will showcase their unique musical talents at the Southern Miss Jazz and Blues Festival on Saturday, April 4, at The University of Southern Mississippi’s Gulf Park campus in Long Beach. The festival will take place from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on the front lawn of the campus.
The University of Southern Mississippi will commemorate the 105th anniversary of its legislative founding Monday, March 30 with annual Founders’ Day celebrations in Hattiesburg and on the Gulf Park Campus in Long Beach.
The University of Southern Mississippi will continue its Spring 2015 theatre season with a production of Sophie Treadwell’s Machinal. Performance dates are March 26, 27, 28, 31 and April 1 at 7:30 p.m. and March 29 at 2 p.m.

National Library Week aims to bring attention to the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support.
University Libraries at The University of Southern Mississippi will host a book sale Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the Southern Miss Jazz and Blues Festival on the front lawn of the university’s Gulf Park campus. The book sale will benefit the Southern Miss Gulf Coast Library.
