With their soulful blues sound, the sibling trio of Homemade Jamz Blues Band will showcase their unique musical talents at the Southern Miss Jazz and Blues Festival on Saturday, April 4, at The University of Southern Mississippi’s Gulf Park campus in Long Beach. The festival will take place from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on the front lawn of the campus.
The Southern Miss Jazz and Blues Festival is free and open to the public offering a day of fun and music. In addition to local restaurants and food vendors offering a variety of cuisine, the festival will also feature arts and crafts vendors set up throughout the front lawn of the campus.
WUSM-FM, 88.5 Southern Miss Radio, will host its 5th annual golf tournament, A Round for Roots Radio, on Monday, April 27, at Canebrake Country Club in Hattiesburg, Miss. Robert St. John will be chairing the tournament for the second time since its creation.
