A writer is the key suspect in a police investigation about a series of child murders that mirror his short stories in the hit play “The Pillowman,” presented Oct. 21-29 by The University of Southern Mississippi Department of Theatre and Dance.
“The Pillowman” is a 2003 black comedy by Irish playwright Martin McDonagh. In 2004, the play received the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Play and was nominated for a Tony Award for Best New Play.
