Gov. Haley Barbour has been praised far and wide for his success in leading Mississippi through difficult economic times and the nation’s worst natural disaster, Hurricane Katrina.

 

On Tuesday, he encouraged the nearly 300 delegates to the 72nd annual American Legion Boys State to use their own leadership abilities to continue moving the state forward.

The M.C. Johnson Natatorium will reopen for aquatics activities Tuesday, May 31. Because of damage caused by a fire last month, at this time the facility is only accessible through the Payne Center and natatorium visitors must use Payne Center restrooms and dressing rooms.
