Sport Venue Evaluation to Assess Game Day Traffic, Parking at Southern Miss

Langan Engineering and Environmental Services, a partner with the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) at The University of Southern Mississippi, will conduct an analysis of game day vehicle and pedestrian traffic Saturday from 3-7 p.m. in conjunction with the Golden Eagles’ Homecoming matchup with Southern Methodist University.

Pre-performance Talk on King Lear to Feature Hauer Oct. 23

Professor Emeritus of English Dr. Stan Hauer will give a talk on King Lear on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 1 p.m. prior to the 2 p.m. matinee showing of the play at The University of Southern Mississippi’s Martha R. Tatum Theatre.  His scheduled presentation is part of a unique collaboration between the Departments of Theater and Dance and English in producing the university’s Pre-performance Talk Series.
