Big Event Volunteers Spread Community Service Among Gulf Coast

Volunteers for The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast’s Big Event, a university-wide community service project, spent their Saturday among several sites on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. With nearly 70 volunteers participating in various projects, the Big Event was a big success in spreading community service awareness.

 

Southern Miss Gulf Coast students, faculty and staff participated in one of four projects along the coast on Saturday, April 14.

Civic Chorale to Present Music of Rodgers and Hammerstein April 27, 29

The Southern Miss Gulf Coast Civic Chorale will perform “The Music of Rodgers and Hammerstein,” at two concerts in the Fleming Education Center auditorium at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Park campus in Long Beach. The concerts will be held Friday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 29 at 3 p.m.
