Calling on the Hattiesburg campus to continue making “miracles” happen through their support of the United Way, University of Southern Mississippi Interim President Dr. Aubrey Lucas kicked off the school's annual United Way Campaign over breakfast Tuesday morning at the Thad Cochran Center. The campus campaign runs through Nov. 9.

The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast will host the free public lecture, “Friendship, Death and Boethian Philosophy in the High Middle Ages” featuring Albrecht Classen, university distinguished professor at the University of Arizona. The lecture will be presented Friday, Oct. 19 at 4 p.m. at the Courtyard Marriott Beachfront Hotel in Gulfport.
