Amanda Crowe Selected Southern Miss Gulf Coast Homecoming Maid

University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast students have elected Amanda Crowe of Gulfport, a master’s in business administration student, to represent the student body at the university’s upcoming homecoming and Spirit Week festivities on both the Gulf Park and Hattiesburg campuses.

Southern Miss Kicks off United Way Campaign on Hattiesburg Campus

Calling on the Hattiesburg campus to continue making “miracles” happen through their support of the United Way, University of Southern Mississippi Interim President Dr. Aubrey Lucas kicked off the school's annual United Way Campaign over breakfast Tuesday morning at the Thad Cochran Center. Medieval Conference to Feature Lecture by Professor Albrecht Classen

The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast will host the free public lecture, “Friendship, Death and Boethian Philosophy in the High Middle Ages” featuring Albrecht Classen, university distinguished professor at the University of Arizona. The lecture will be presented Friday, Oct. 19 at 4 p.m. at the Courtyard Marriott Beachfront Hotel in Gulfport.
