A celebration of the record-breaking participation and fund-raising at this year’s American Heart Association Heartwalk will be held Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 3 p.m. in RC’s Lounge at The University of Southern Mississippi’s R.C. Cook Student Union.

Various groups and individuals will be recognized for their work in making the event a success, and a drawing will be held to pick winners of the incentive prizes for faculty, staff and students. The student group that sold the most “hearts” will also be recognized and awarded a $250 catered event from Southern Miss Catering.
