WHAT: The University of Southern Mississippi International Development doctoral program will host a lecture by Mordechai E. Kreinin, distinguished professor of international economics at Michigan State University, titled “The Global Recession of 2008-2009.”
WHERE: Fleming Education Center, room 104, Southern Miss Gulf Park campus in Long Beach
WHEN: Friday, April 30 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
SPECIFICS: Kreinin, who received both his master’s and doctoral degrees in economics from the University of Michigan, specializes in international economics, theory and money and banking. He has received numerous fellowships and honors for his research and publications on economics and the finance industry.
