Author Margaret Rose Vendreyes, shown here leading a multimedia presentation titled “Richmond Barthe’, Black Donatello” in the University of Southern Mississippi Museum of Art, participated in the closing reception for the exhibit American Masters of Mississippi Gulf Coast: George Ohr, Dusti Bonge’, Walter Anderson, Richmond Barthe’  Oct. 13. She is the author of "Barthe': A Life in Sculpture." Southern Miss students, faculty and art patrons attended the reception for the traveling exhibition, organized by the Mississippi Arts Commission.
