Miela Ford Gallob, daughter of Tana Hoban, delivered a heart-warming presentation at the opening reception of Hoban's exhibit June 15 in The University of Southern Mississippi Museum of Art. Gallob spoke on the life and work of Hoban, who was a well-known photographer and publisher of children's literature from the 1940s until her death in 2006. Gallob donated a vast collection of Hoban's children's literature, photography and advertising work to the de Grummond Children’s Literature Collection at Southern Miss. The Tana Hoban Exhibit: A Retrospective will be on display in the University Museum of Art until Aug. 25.
