Justice Coffee House Set for Dec. 4 in Hattiesburg

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Student Association of Social Workers at The University of Southern Mississippi will sponsor The Justice Coffee House on Friday, Dec. 4, from 6-9 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Hattiesburg.

The Justice Coffee House is designed to create awareness of social justice issues in the Pine Belt community. The program will include guest speakers as well as live music and door prizes.

War and Society Center Hosts “End of the Year” Social

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The University of Southern Mississippi’s Center for the Study of War and Society Book Roundtable will host an “End of the Year Social” on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Hattiesburg Public Library.

The Center’s War and Society Roundtable, a community book group, will meet to discuss the “best and worst” war and society books of the past year. Light refreshments will be served.
