WHAT: Special announcement by Dr. Denise von Herrmann, dean of the College of Arts and Letters and photo opportunities of Preview Concert by The Pride of Mississippi Marching Band at Southern Miss
 
WHERE: Powerhouse Restaurant on the Hattiesburg campus
 
WHEN: Friday, Aug. 21, 7 – 7:30 p.m.

SPECIFICS: The Pride of Mississippi Marching Band at the University of Southern Mississippi, under the direction of band director Mohamad Schuman and assistant director Jamie Standland, will perform a free Preview Concert near the Power House Restaurant on the Hattiesburg campus. Dr. von Herrmann will also make an announcement about a special performance The Pride will give this fall.
