WHAT: EcoEagle Lecture Series featuring Luke Lundemo of the Climate Project/media welcome for interview/photo/video opportunities

SPECIFICS: The Southern Miss Office of Sustainability sponsors guest speakers on campus who promote and support best practices in sustainability, either as individuals or through organizations. 

The Climate Project, a nonprofit organization based in Nashville, Tenn., began operations in June 2006 with the mission of increasing public awareness of the climate crisis at a grassroots level in the U.S. and abroad by promoting dialogue about climate change as well as potential solutions. Supporters of its efforts include environmental activist and former Vice President Al Gore, author of the book “An Inconvenient Truth.”
