University of Southern Mississippi students board a new shuttle bus near Cook Library on the Hattiesburg Campus. The new bus, sponsored by the Department of Residence Life, is in response to a Student Government Association request to expand the shuttle service to provide more opportunities for students to conveniently access various areas of campus. The shuttle, currently running from the Hillcrest gravel lot to the Thad Cochran Center, will serve as a pilot for the goal of offering a route down Montague Boulevard before the end of the fall semester. For more information about this service, contact the Department of Residence Life at 601.266.4783.
