HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The University of Southern Mississippi campus welcomed freshman scholarship students for Move-In Day Friday on the Hattiesburg campus, with more set to arrive Saturday to move into residence halls and make Southern Miss their home away from home. Southern Miss volunteers welcome students and their families by offering water and frozen treats, carrying luggage and providing additional assistance. Freshman Move-In Days also pair with Golden Eagle Welcome Week to kick off the fall semester.
