Dr. Thelma Roberson, right, an associate professor in The University of Southern Mississippiís Department of Educational Studies and Research, works with Southern Miss alumna Deanna Favre, wife of NFL star and former Southern Miss quarterback Brett Favre, at the Hattiesburg Habitat for Humanityís National Women Build Day project. Women Build is a program with Habitat for Humanity International that seeks to empower women and girls to learn and grow on Habitat job sites and reveal the strengths of its women partners and their supporters across the community. Roberson was among other Southern Miss faculty and staff who participated in the project Saturday at Habitatís new Celeste Place subdivision to help build a home for a Hattiesburg family in need of housing.
