University of Southern Mississippi’s Museum of Art opened its first exhibit of the spring semester, Thursday, on the Hattiesburg, Miss., campus. “Cross Connections 2009” is an international graphic design exhibition that will run through March 3rd. An international exchange event, the exhibit features work by professors and students from four institutions:  the University of Southern Mississippi Department of Art and Design, the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in China, the Hochschule fur Wirtschaft Technik und Gestaltung in Germany, and the University of Texas at Arlington Department of Art and Art History.
