WHAT: Follow up on New Hampshire presidential primary WHERE: The University of Southern Mississippi - Hattiesburg WHEN: Ongoing SPECIFICS: Faculty experts from The University of Southern Mississippi are available to comment on aspects of today’s New Hampshire 2008 presidential primary. They include Dr. Denise von Herrmann, dean of the Southern Miss College of Arts and Letters and associate professor of political science and international development. She holds a doctorate in political science with emphasis in public policy and administration, American politics and economics. Dr. Curtis Austin, assistant professor of history, is director of the university’s Center for Oral History and Cultural Heritage and holds a doctorate from Mississippi State University. As a specialist in black studies, Dr. Austin can comment on the aspects of minority candidates in the presidential race.
