SPECIFICS: University President Martha Saunders, Southern Miss Alumni Association President Curt Hébert and Ogletree House Building Committee Chair Randy Pope will be among dignitaries present when the Southern Miss Alumni Association cuts the ribbon on the newly restored and expanded Ogletree House.
The nearly 100-year-old facility, which houses the operations of the Association, has been greatly expanded from 6,500 square feet to almost 12,800, and restored to its original glory. The project was made possible by gifts from more than 850 alumni and friends of the university who contributed $3.26 million to the effort.
