Golden Eagles Hotline with head football coach Larry Fedora
WHEN: 7-8 p.m.
WHERE: Alumni House Sports Grill in Hattiesburg
EVENT: Southern Miss head coach Larry Fedora will talk about his team’s 30-17 loss to Alabama-Birmingham last weekend and Saturday’s upcoming road game against the University of Louisville. He will answer questions from fans at the Alumni House as well as those who call in to the radio broadcast on WXRR-FM (104.5).
President Emeritus Lucas to address University Forum
WHEN: 6:30 p.m.
WHERE: Bennett Auditorium on the Hattiesburg campus
EVENT: Dr. Aubrey K. Lucas will present, “From Whence We’ve Come: The Southern Miss Journey.” His presentation will examine the university’s rise from a teacher’s college nearly 100 years ago to its current research university status. For information call 601-266-4533.

Annual Comcast Golf Classic set to tee off

Jazz Sextet to hold reunion performance

Closing reception for American Masters of the Mississippi Gulf Coast

EVENT: Honored guests Dr. Aubrey K. Lucas, Bobby L. Chain and Harry C. Ward will be part of the closing ceremony for the exhibit. Margaret Rose Vendryes will lead the lecture titled, “Richmond Barthe, Black Donatello.” For information call 601-266-4972.
