Taylor Earns Medical Technology Degree at Southern Miss PDF Print E-mail

Meryl Cannee’ Taylor, a University of Southern Mississippi senior from Pascagoula, Miss. graduated with a bachelor’s degree in medical technology Dec. 11 during commencement exercises on the university’s Hattiesburg campus. She was also honored that day at the department’s 74th annual certificate ceremony.

At Southern Miss, Taylor was a member of the Medical Technology Club and ASCLS. She is the daughter of Cannoy Taylor Sr. and Olga Faye Taylor.

The Department of Medical Technology is part of the College of Health. Graduates of the medical technology program may choose to pursue a variety of careers within their field that include infection control coordinators, lab information computer analysts, administrative technologists, researchers and more.
