Students Participate in Campus Beautification Project PDF Print E-mail

, Miss.  – University of Southern Mississippi students, from left, Student Government Association President J.R. Lucas Administration Building as part of a campus homecoming week beautification project Thursday.

Sponsored by the Southern Miss Student Government Association, the day’s service projects included work on flower beds and other landscaping projects near the front of campus near the Aubrey Lucas Administration Building. Other work included planting trees around the power substation next to the Thames Polymer Science Research Center; planting monkey grass in areas near the Payne Center; and pruning rose bushes in the rose gardens near the front of campus.
