Southern Miss Gulf Coast Fall Registration Aug. 11
LONG BEACH, Miss. - The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast will register new undergraduate students for the fall 2009 semester from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday, August 11 in the Advanced Education Center at the Gulf Park campus in Long Beach.
Former students and new graduate students who have not previously registered online via SOAR will register Wednesday, August 12 from 2-6 p.m. in the Advanced Education Center.

Lansford Serves as Editor for Book Examining International Issues
LONG BEACH, Miss. Dr. Tom Lansford, academic dean and political science professor for The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast, served as editor for a collected volume of articles entitled The War in Iraq.
Published by Greenhaven Press, the book is part of the series Global Viewpoints which examines international issues from a critical perspective. The 21 essays in The War in Iraq explore how the conflict has affected international relations, the Arab-Israeli conflict, global terrorism and efforts to promote democracy.
