Southern Miss Doctoral Student Awarded Grant to Attend Conference PDF Print E-mail

Gaye Winter, a doctoral student in higher education administration at the University of Southern Mississippi, was awarded a travel grant to attend the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Conference in San Antonio, Texas, held Dec. 6-9.

The grant was awarded to just nine graduate students in the 11-state region, with Winter being the only student chosen from Mississippi. She submitted a detailed portfolio of assessment to compete for the award.

Winter currently serves as an adjunct instructor in the Southern Miss Department of English.
