The following events are being held at various locations in Hattiesburg and present both interview and photo opportunities for the media. 5th Annual Lessac Voice Conference set
WHEN:
7 a.m.-8 p.m.
WHERE: Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites in Hattiesburg
EVENT: The conference focuses primarily on voice, speech and body training for teacher-practitioners. The event will feature workshops, symposiums and presentations. For information call 601-266-6823.

Golden Eagles host Memphis in basketball
WHEN
: 7 p.m.
WHERE: Reed Green Coliseum
EVENT: The Southern Miss menís basketball squad hosts the Memphis Tigers in Conference USA action. For information call 601-266-4503.

Photo opportunities on Hattiesburg campus
EVENTS
: Construction has begun on the new parking garage located between Bond Hall and West Fourth Street across from the Pat Ferlise Ticket office; construction also continues on the Gateway project to the front entrance of the Hattiesburg campus facing Hardy Street.
