Southern Miss hosts Southern Invitational Choral Conference
7 p.m.
WHERE: Bennett Auditorium on Hattiesburg campus
EVENT: Fifth annual choral conference featuring 50 institutions. High school and college students will compete in vocal competition. For information call 601-266-6823.


Golden Eagles Hotline with head football coach Larry Fedora
: 7-8 p.m.
WHERE: Alumni House Sports Grill in Hattiesburg
EVENT: Southern Miss head coach Larry Fedora will talk about his team’s 35-28 loss to Kansas last weekend and Thursday’s upcoming road game against the University of Alabama-Birmingham. He will answer questions from fans at the Alumni House as well as those who call in to the radio broadcast on WXRR-FM (104.5).

Southern Invitational Choral Conference concludes
: 4 p.m.
WHERE: Main Street Baptist Church

President Saunders to address fall convocation
: 3:30 p.m.
WHERE: Bennett Auditorium on Hattiesburg campus

English Department hosts Fairy Tale Economies Conference

WHERE: Saenger Theatre in downtown Hattiesburg
EVENT: Reception with keynote address by Dr. Jennifer Schacker, University of Guelph, Ontario. Opening of “The Alphabet of Fairy Tales,” an art exhibit from the de Grummond Children’s Literature Collection. For information call 601-266-6823.

School of Music hosts Connoisseur Chamber Music Series
