Katie Ross, a University of Southern Mississippi senior political science major from Vicksburg, is serving as the Student Government Associationís co-coordinator of the universityís 2009 homecoming celebration.

Ross is a Lucky Day Scholar at Southern Miss and a member of the Order of Omega Honor Society. She served as the 2008-2009 Miss University of Southern Mississippi Pageant student director and as treasurer and vice president of her sorority, Chi Omega.

She is the daughter of James and Mickey Ross.
