Technology and innovation giant Raytheon has become the newest partner in providing services that will assist the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) at The University of Southern Mississippi in crisis awareness, testing and preparedness.
NCS4 Director Dr. Lou Marciani pointed out that Raytheon provides capabilities and software solutions that are best-suited for the future specific sport security requirements. He notes that Raytheon brings leading-edge technology and expertise that will enhance the National Center’s ongoing initiatives.

Established in 2006, The National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security was created to provide an interdisciplinary academic environment to further increase sport security awareness; improve sport security policies and procedures and enhance emergency response through evacuation, recovery operations and crowd management training.
