WHAT: Funeral service for Steve McNair
WHERE: Reed Green Coliseum, The University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, Miss.

SPECIFICS: Members of the media who are interested in covering the funeral service for former professional football player and Mt. Olive native Steve McNair are required to obtain credentials to do so.
Still Photographers: At the McNair family’s request, still photographers will NOT be allowed inside the coliseum during the service. Photos will be available through one pool photographer who will be inside the coliseum during the service.
Broadcast capabilities: News organizations will be able to obtain a direct feed via satellite that can broadcast the service live.

Video cameras will not be permitted to shoot inside once the service has begun. Broadcast stations will be able to access sound during the service from a mult box with an XLR connection and video via a BNC connection. Video cameras may be used to record and/or transmit from outside the coliseum before and after the service.
Credentials: Credential pickup will be available on Friday, July 10 until 5 p.m. at the Marketing and Public Relations Office, Room 210 College Hall and on Saturday, July 11 at the Pete Taylor Park ticket office beginning at 8 a.m. Pete Taylor Park is directly across the street from the Coliseum on 4th Street in Hattiesburg on the north side of campus.
Credentialed media must check in at the west entrance of the coliseum beginning at 10 a.m. All media should be inside and checked in by 10:45 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service. You must be wearing your credentials to gain access into the service.Working areas for media will be available in the baseball press box, located on the third level of the baseball suites. Another area for video and audio hookups will be available in the Hardwood Room in the Coliseum. Information for wireless Internet access will be provided at checkin at the coliseum or ticket office.
Media Parking: Designated parking for all members of the media and satellite trucks is available at the Pete Taylor Park baseball facility, located on Fourth St., directly across from Reed Green Coliseum.
Remember: this is a solemn event and university personnel are working diligently to be respectful of the family’s wishes in this situation. We appreciate your cooperation with these guidelines.
