Students, Industry Leaders Take Part in Export University at Southern Miss Gulf Coast PDF Print E-mail

Enrique Huartado, Deputy Director of Trade Development for the Mississippi State Port Authority in Gulfport, lead a seminar for the Export University program held March 24-25 at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Park campus in Long Beach.

The seminar featured presenters who are international trade practitioners and members of the Mississippi District Export Council. The presenters instructed students from Southern Miss and other area schools on course material drawing from their extensive experience in international trade.

Export University, a training program of the Mississippi District Export Council, provides a series of courses on exporting designed to help Mississippi companies begin an export initiative, and to gain increasing skills and innovativeness in their international sales.
