Southern Miss to Remain Open Friday; Students, Employees Urged to Travel Cautiously |

The University of Southern Mississippi will remain open tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 8 but students and employees are urged to use caution and report to campus when they can safely do so, as inclement weather conditions are predicted. The DuBard School for Language Disorders, located on the Southern Miss Hattiesburg campus, will be closed.
Mini-session classes will meet as scheduled. The university’s Cook Library on the Hattiesburg campus will be open as scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 2-6 p.m. Saturday. Updates will be posted on the university’s Web site at www.usm.edu as necessary.
